About 65 million years ago the earth experienced an extinction event that wiped out many species, including the dinosaurs. this event was believed to have occurred in what is currently the Gulf of Mexico on the Yucatan Penninsula. Wouldn’t it be ironic if we have sown the seeds of our own extinction event by extracting the 65 million year old remains of these species from their resting place? Talk about karma
